Kardo

The antithesis of mass-produced fast-fashion, KARDO was launched in 2013 with the desire to slow things down and attend to the small details of menswear. Inspired by traditional work-wear and tailoring, KARDO dresses the modern man with subtle twists on classic silhouettes.

Rikki Kher, the founder of Kardo, loves making clothes for men like him: a love for travel, an inclination for products that are sustainable, and a passion for great music unite him and many of the brand’s loyalists. He approached Meher Varma with an open ended brief: “write us some good stories that we can use as content.” We created a series of stories for the brand that featured great men, bonded by what we consider to be Kardo’s real story: an alternative masculinity.
